True Lies, a television series sequel to the film of the same name was announced by McG On May 20, 2019.[1] on February 10, 2021, it was announced that a pilot was ordered for the series by CBS, with Matt Nix announced as being involved. Anthony Hemingway (replacing McG) directed as well as executive produced the pilot, with James Cameron executive producing as well. It is based on the 1994 film True Lies and the 1991 French film La Totale!. The series aired from March 1, 2023 to May 17, 2023.
